We're here for victims and survivors of child sexual abuse
Our name can be misleading. But Rape Crisis England & Wales – and our 36 member centres – have expertise in all forms of sexual violence and abuse, including child sexual abuse.

If you're aged 16+, you can contact our free and confidential 24/7 Support Line.
🏬 Access longer-term support
35 of our member Rape Crisis centres offer longer-term support (such as counselling and advocacy) to young people aged 13-17, while 27 offer it to children aged 0-12.
All of our member centres deliver longer-term support to women who have experienced child sexual abuse. Many also support other adult survivors.

The government has announced today (Wednesday 3rd December) that they will be making changes in forthcoming legislation to restrict the use of so-called ‘victim bad character’ evidence.

Funding update for Rape Crisis centres
Yesterday the Ministry of Justice confirmed that they will award £550 million to specialist services offering practical and emotional support to victims and survivors over the next 2 years. Some of this funding will go directly to our life-changing Rape Crisis centres.
