Chester Sexual Abuse Support Service (formerly Chester Sexual Violence Support Service) is a counselling and support service available to anyone over the age of 18 who has suffered any form of rape, sexual abuse or violence at any time in their lives.

Our helpline is open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6pm - 8pm on freephone 0808 284 0484 (free from landlines, some mobile operators may charge).

Counselling for men is provided at alternative times to counselling for women.

RASA Merseyside is made up of 3 centres: Birkenhead, Sefton & Liverpool and West Wirral.

RASA Birkenhead – Women, men, children
RASA Birkenhead is two linked houses ensuring full women only space is available at all times.
RASA Birkenhead has a fully equipped children’s room and space for male counselling and support.
RASA runs “protecting our children” training from this centre by arrangement.
Centre is fully accessible and easily reached by public transport.
Office is staffed, and counselling is available by appointment Mon-Fri 9-5 and evenings until 8pm on Tuesday and Thursday.

RASA Sefton & Liverpool – Women, men, children
RASA Sefton & Liverpool is a fully equipped modern counselling centre, training school and children’s centre.
RASA runs “protecting our children” training from this centre by arrangement
Centre is fully accessible and easily reached by public transport.
Office is staffed, and counselling is available by appointment Mon-Fri 9-5 and evenings until 8pm on Monday & Wednesday.
The Centre is home to the RASA ISVA Team serving Sefton & Liverpool.
