Specialist Sexual Violence Support Line and Live Chat Worker

You will provide trauma informed, empowerment based, practical and emotional support to survivors across the UK on a Support Line and live chat service.

You will facilitate the provision of a national 24/7 Support Line and Live Chat service.

You will also represent and promote Lincolnshire Rape Crisis and build appropriate partnerships within both statutory and voluntary agencies in local communities

This role will involve providing specialist, trauma-informed support to adults of all genders who have experienced sexual violence and abuse. You will work in a way that recognises the impact of trauma, prioritises emotional and physical safety, and supports survivors to make informed choices about their own lives.

We are looking for someone who brings empathy, enthusiasm, strong boundaries and a clear commitment to empowering adult survivors. You will understand the importance of working within a specialist VAWG service, including the need to challenge victim-blaming attitudes, uphold confidentiality and provide non-judgemental, inclusive support.

This role will involve providing specialist, trauma-informed support to children and young people (CYP) of all genders who have experienced sexual violence and abuse. You will deliver support that is age-appropriate, creative, empowering and grounded in safety, trust and choice.

We are looking for someone who understands the impact of trauma on children and young people, and who can work sensitively with young survivors, families, carers and professionals. You will bring enthusiasm, patience, strong personal and professional boundaries, and a clear commitment to ensuring that children and young people are heard, believed and supported to regain a sense of control.

Children's Independent Sexual Violence Adviser (ChISVA)

You will work with children and young people who are survivors of sexual abuse to promote their emotional and physical wellbeing.

You will provide support to children and young people, and their families, through a range of channels as appropriate, including face-to-face, video, text and telephone.

This includes travel to schools and community venues to provide support as required by your caseload.

Outreach IDVA (Women & Girls) – Safer Futures

We are looking for a trauma-informed professional to provide a proactive, high-quality, frontline Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy (IDVA) service to adult female survivors of domestic abuse, through a trauma-informed, survivor-led and risk-focused approach.

The focus of the role will be to support women fleeing domestic abuse to secure and maintain safe accommodation. As an Outreach IDVA you will hold a high level of aspiration for the women you are working with. You will support them to identify their strengths and achieve their goals. You will empower them to access a broad range of services and support and to engage with their wider community.

If you have experience of working with people experiencing domestic/sexual abuse, homelessness, criminal justice, substance misuse or mental health in a risk-led environment, we would love to hear from you.

Greater Manchester Rape Crisis

Experienced Social Worker

Greater Manchester Rape Crisis are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our friendly and committed Pathfinder team.

Your role will be to support women across three women’s charities within the GM Pathfinder partnership and work with service users who have experienced sexual trauma, but who present with additional complex mental health needs. The work will be with service users in partner organisation settings and in the community, working collaboratively with individuals, carers and partners from local multi agency providers and services, to assess and identify social care needs that may be potential barriers to the client being able to address their sexual trauma.

Greater Manchester Rape Crisis are looking for a qualified Independent Sexual Violence Advisor to join our friendly and committed team. Your role will be to support women practically and emotionally as they go through the criminal justice system.

Applicants who are not yet ISVA-qualified, but who have relevant experience working within the criminal justice system and/or sexual violence services will also be considered. In this case, the successful candidate would be supported to complete the ISVA qualification.

Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP)

We are seeking a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) or Low Intensity Psychological Worker to support survivors of sexual trauma and their loved ones through evidence-based, low-intensity psychological interventions.

You will work closely with a wide network of main contacts and partners, including PCFT GM Resilience Hub, TRC, Greater Manchester Rape Crisis, Manchester Action on Street Health (MASH), local authority partners, third-sector organisations, multi-disciplinary teams, service users and carers, and services across the adult mental health pathway.

The role operates across three sites within Greater Manchester, making the ability and willingness to travel between sites essential. You will work flexibly in partner organisation settings and in the community, collaborating with individuals, carers and multi-agency providers to assess and identify social care needs that may present barriers to clients addressing their sexual trauma.

The postholder will be responsible for delivering Independent Sexual Violence Advocacy (ISVA) support to survivors of sexual violence across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. In the role of Young Women and Girls ISVA you will hold a caseload of young women and girls aged 11-17 years old, who have been subjected to sexual violence. You will support those whose choose to report through the criminal justice process. In addition, the role involves providing broader support to young women and girls to address the multiple impacts of sexual violence. This post involves travel across East London, and a hybrid model of home and office working.

Part of this role includes the coordination with the nia’s Anti-Racism Working Group to co-produce tangible outcomes; harnessing the expertise of those.

The Executive Assistant will provide high-level, proactive support to the CEO and Board, requiring discretion, confident communication, and the ability to anticipate needs and manage competing priorities.

Working in close partnership with the CEO, you will bring structure, oversight, and clarity to a varied and fast-paced workload, ensuring that priorities are well-managed, time is used effectively, and key pieces of work progress at pace. This will include managing a complex diary and inbox, acting as a gatekeeper and facilitator, and ensuring that communication and information flow smoothly across the organisation.

Pathway Navigator

You will carry out trauma-informed assessments with new clients to ascertain their best options for support, whether internal or external.

Your key responsibilities include, providing a trauma-informed telephone, video, and face-to-face triage service for survivors referred to SARSAS, including self-referrals. You’ll ensure initial needs and risks are assessed and understood. Where appropriate, carry out short term risk management and safety planning. You will also provide information about what support services are available and refer/facilitate access to internal, or external support services.

This is a frontline role providing trauma-informed, survivor-centred support to individuals navigating the Criminal Justice System and wider recovery journey. You will hold a caseload, provide advocacy and practical support, and work collaboratively with internal colleagues and external statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure coordinated support for survivors.
