Who can use a Rape Crisis centre?

All of our Rape Crisis member centres support women, and many of them support other people too. You can find out more about who can access services at each centre on this page.

How many Rape Crisis centres are there?

We run 36 Rape Crisis centres across England and Wales.

Do all parts of the country have a Rape Crisis centre?

Some areas in England and Wales aren't covered by one of our member centres. This might mean there isn't a member centre that can offer you support.

What is a member centre?

A member centre, or a Rape Crisis member centre is another name for a Rape Crisis centre – it means that the Sexual Assault Referral Centre is officially run by and receives funding from Rape Crisis.

You do not have to be a member of any body to use a Rape Crisis centre.

How does a Sexual Assault Referral Centre become a Rape Crisis centre?
