Just over 24 hours to go - Rape Crisis supporters run in Vitality British 10k 2016
8 Jul 2016
This Sunday 10th July 2016, five fantastic women will run an iconic route past some of the capital's best known landmarks in aid of Rape Crisis England & Wales.
Starting on Piccadilly outside The Cavalry & Guards Club on Hyde Park corner, these Rape Crisis supporters will make their way past huge crowds and London landmarks including the London Eye, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, as they complete the Vitality British 10k London Run, now in its 13th year.
Our runners include long-standing Rape Crisis activist Anna Rogers, and one of our newest supporters, actor Maddy Hill, who became our first official charity ambassador last year.
You can sponsor Anna here, make a donation to Maddy and her friends Megan and Lauren, who are also running the race on our behalf, here, or show your support for Rape Crisis runner Trish here. And feel free to share these links with friends and networks to help us make the most of this great opportunity to raise all-important funds and awareness of our services.
If you're on Twitter, the hashtag for the Vitality British 10k is #runthecapital - spread the word!
Rape Crisis is extremely grateful to our five brilliant runners and all those supporting them; we wish our women and all participants a beautiful day and a very fun run.
