Violence, Abuse and Mental Health Network

20 Dec 2018

Rape Crisis England & Wales are taking part in a new research project which has set up a Violence, Abuse and Mental Health Network to research the impact of violence and abuse on mental health.

The network is focusing on all types of domestic and sexual violence and abuse and all aspects of mental health and wellbeing. One of their initial objectives is to understand what areas of this research people feel is most important so we are asking those who have a stake in this field to participate in a survey.

They want to understand what people who have experienced violence and abuse, and who have experience of mental health problems think should be the focus of Network activities. They are therefore conducting a consultation between Nov 2018 and Feb 2019 to ask people about their priorities for research.

The researchers appreciate that this is a sensitive topic means that it may be difficult to complete so it can be partially completed if you would prefer. The survey is entirely voluntary and It can be completed anonymously. It should take no more than 10-15 minutes to finish.

If you would like to share your opinion on the direction the network should take by completing the survey, please follow this link.
