Sexual violence is the general term we use to describe any kind of unwanted sexual act or activity, including rape, sexual assault, sexual abuse, and many others.
Supporting a survivor
Supporting a survivor of sexual violence can be daunting. You might be afraid of saying or doing 'the wrong thing'. But you don't have to be an expert.
Reporting to the police
If you've been raped or sexually assaulted, it's up to you whether or not you report it to the police. No-one else can or should make that choice for you.
