Why do we need Rape Crisis?
An overview of what we do and why, and the context in which the Rape Crisis movement operates. Find out crucial facts and figures about sexual violence and abuse and its prevalence, plus what services are available for victims and survivors in the UK.

What are specialist sexual violence services and why they are needed?
What does it mean to provide specialist sexual violence services? This session will explore the reasons why they are needed, what they look like, and how we can evidence them. The session will also look at the Rape Crisis National Service Standards (RCNSS), a robust set of quality standards used to verify specialist sexual violence and abuse provision in England and Wales.

Sexual violence in a digital world: what do we know?
As part of the Digital Transformation project, RCEW is working with Durham University to research what sexual violence looks like in a digital world. Professor Nicole Westmarland will talk about what we know about online and digital forms of sexual violence, and the implications that has for policy and practice.
