SERVICES

• A Rape and Sexual Abuse Helpline offered Monday -Friday 10.00am -1.00pm and Thurs 7.00pm-10.00pm
• One to one emotional support and counselling services to victims/survivors of rape, sexual assault, incest, childhood sexual abuse and sexual exploitation at the Centre or as Outreach.
• Complex Needs Service to victims/survivors of rape, sexual assault, incest, childhood sexual abuse and sexual exploitation at the Centre or as Outreach.
• Young Empowered Women Project funded for 3 years by Children in Need which offers specialised support, and creative/arts based group work to young women aged 11 to 18 who have experienced any form of sexual violence and/or domestic violence.
• 14 week Pattern Changing and POWER Programmes offering structured groupwork for survivors of sexual and/or domestic abuse to empower and enable them to make changes in their lives.
• BodyWork and Alternative Therapies to enable survivors deal with somatic symptoms of trauma/stress in the body after sexual violence
• Art Therapy, Eco-therapy and Create in Nature sessions

SERVICES

We offer free, confidential, specialist support for survivors over the age of 13 who have been raped or sexually abused at any time in their lives.

The support we offer consists of emotional and practical support, a freephone helpline, E support at support@sarsas.org.uk, 1-1 support by phone or face to face, specialist counselling, information and support resources.

Our Bristol hub is a woman-only space.

Men and boys over the age of 13 can access our helpline and E-support.

We provide counselling for boys and young men aged 13-18 in Somerset as part of the Phoenix Project in partnership with Barnardo's.

Areas covered: Bath and North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset, Somerset, South Gloucestershire.

OTHER INFORMATION

We also campaign to raise awareness of and challenge misconceptions about sexual violence and abuse as well as delivering training and consent-based workshops to professional organisations, schools and universities.
