Rape Crisis

#BREAKTHESILENCE FILM CAMPAIGN

It takes strength to talk about rape. If you’re a survivor you are not alone, and you deserve support.

Rape Crisis South London has launched #BreakTheSilence, a series of films for young survivors aimed at explaining the police, the court system and the ISVA support available from Rape Crisis.

Our National Rape Crisis Helpline has been helping women and girls break the silence for over 30 years. Every week we receive over 1,000 calls from survivors. To help us continue this work, please make a donation here.

FILM ONE: Leila speaks out

FILM TWO: Leila seeks support through Rape Crisis

FILM THREE: Leila reports her experience to the police

FILM FOUR: Leila gives evidence in court

There will have been words explained in the films that you might not be familiar with. We’ve created a list of these and what they mean, along with some information on additional support, here (or download it here).
